We’re proud of how many Kaplan students pass their pathway course and progress to their first-choice university every year. In 2022, more than 6,000 students passed their UK pathway course!
In a testament to their hard work and the dedication of their tutors, 91% of Kaplan-recruited students passed their course. Out of that 91%, a brilliant 94% of students received an unconditional offer from their first-choice university.

Learning success
The numbers are also impressive when split by course type. Out of all Foundation Certificate students who passed their course, 93% received an unconditional offer for their first-choice university, while 95% of Pre-Master’s students received an unconditional offer.
Plus, an amazing 99% of students who passed their International Year One course received an unconditional offer from their first-choice university!
For those few students who didn’t progress to their first-choice university, friendly staff are on hand talk them through their options, and help them find a path that’s right for them.
Stand-out results
There were particulary brilliant results at the University of York International Pathway College, where all courses are taught by the University’s expert staff. Here, 96% of students who passed their Foundation Certificate or Pre-Master’s course received an unconditional offer from the University.

If you pass your pathway course at the required level, with good attendance, you’re guaranteed a place on your chosen degree. However, in the unlikely event that you don’t meet the requirements for your first-choice university, we can still help.
Our free University Placement Service is open to all students who successfully pass their pathway course, and guarantees you a place at UK university!
