Simmons University dual-degree program 

The five-year dual-degree program in Engineering combines the close-knit, women-centered environment at Simmons University with a world-class education from a choice of top-25 US universities, giving you incredible STEM career opportunities.

How does the dual-degree program work? 

Through the dual-degree program, you can earn two separate bachelor’s degrees by studying for three years at Simmons University in Boston and two years at either Columbia University in New York City or Washington University in St. Louis.

You’ll graduate with: 

  • a bachelor’s degree in a science discipline from Simmons University 
  • a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from either Columbia University or Washington University 

As part of the program, you’ll pay Simmons University tuition rates in years 1, 2 and 3, and either Columbia University or Washington University tuition rates in years 4 and 5. 

Step 1

3 years at Simmons University in Boston

Earn a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline.

Step 2

2 years at Columbia University or Washington University

Earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.  

Step 3

Graduate with two bachelor’s degrees

Hit the job market with strong credentials and the ability to work in the USA for up to 3 years with OPT.
