- If you meet the entry requirements for a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or pathways program, but need to improve your English language skills, you may qualify for ELP. A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 is required for undergraduate entry, with no minimum GPA for the extended pathways program. Competitive graduate school applicants typically have a 3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale. Lower GPAs may still be considered.
- There are 6 ELP levels, ranging from “basic” to “advanced.” Students will take the ASU ELP placement test upon arrival and are then placed into the appropriate level.
