    Earned an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from the Business School (formerly Cass) in 1988.

    Lifetime achievements

    Founder and owner of EasyJet, one of Europe’s largest low-cost airlines with a fleet of 323 aircraft that carried over 88.5m passengers in 2018. The EasyJet corporation has also expanded into hotels and retail outlets under the ‘Easy’ brand. In March 2013, the airline was promoted to the FTSE 100 and it recently launched its 100th route from Gatwick Airport.

  • Syed Ali Raza (Pakistan)

    Former President and Chairman of the National Bank of Pakistan. Raza has also been given a Sitara-e-Imtiaz by the President of Pakistan, the highest award a citizen of the country can receive.
