When you study one of these degree preparation courses with Kaplan, we make five promises to you.

Digital Pre-Sessional English

During your Pre-Sessional English course, you’ll have access to Career Focus, Kaplan’s interactive employability hub.  

Here you’ll find fun quizzes to help you test your career readiness, as well as useful resources on things like entrepreneurship, professional networking and modern workplace technologies.  

You’ll also benefit from the Kindness Curriculum, learning the personal and social skills that are essential in the workplace today. 

Digital Pre-Pathway course

It’s never too early to start thinking about your career! That’s why your Pre-Pathway course will feature sessions designed to help you build key career skills like confidence, teamwork and professional behaviour.

You’ll also have access to our interactive employability hub, Career Focus, where you can build digital skills, access career talks and explore resources on entrepreneurship and professional networking, all tailored to your personal goals.

Career skills at university and beyond 

Once you finish your degree preparation course, you’ll be ready to take advantage of career opportunities at university and beyond! Here’s some of what you can look forward to:

    A dedicated careers services team, often available on campus and online, who will help you further develop your employability skills, perfect your CV and find an internship or job.

    The option to stay in the UK and work for up to two years after you graduate, through the Graduate Route Visa
