Latest information: Remote study for UK

University of Nottingham International College student services

The student support staff on your pathway course in Nottingham will strive to ensure you feel welcome and comfortable. Their help will start even before you arrive, and will continue as you follow your path to university.

Pre-arrival support

Our student support begins before you even set foot in the UK. We’ll send you a useful pre-arrival guide, packed with information about British life and what you should bring with you. We’ll also be ready to answer any of the questions you have before you begin your studies abroad.

At the airport

The friendly support team will be ready to help you settle in from the moment you arrive, and can even come and pick you up from the airport. They’ll help you get to your new home, and make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need.

Once you have accepted your offer to study with us, you can book your airport transfers by filling in the form in the pre-arrival area.

Welcome Week

Your first week will provide you with a great opportunity to make friends, meet your teachers and get to know other staff, even before your classes start. There will be plenty of events to take part in, and you can get help with practical matters such as setting up a bank account and registering with a doctor.

Social activities

There will be many social activities organised during your pathway course, including sporting events, day trips and skills workshops. These will provide you with a great chance to make friends and experience what the UK has to offer, so we encourage you to get involved!

Accommodation

You can make the most of stylish, comfortable accommodation, situated within easy reach of your classes and the University of Nottingham campus. As well as having all the modern conveniences you need, you’ll also be close to shops, restaurants and entertainment. Find out more about the excellent residence options on the accommodation page.
