  • Juan Rafael Elvira Quesada (Mexico)

    Graduated from Cranfield University

    With an MSc in Agricultural Engineering.

    Lifetime achievements

    A Mexican politician and member of the National Action Party. In November 2011 he received the Fray International Sustainability Award at the Fray International Symposium in Mexico, for his achievements and contributions to sustainable development.

  • Kamil Okyay Sındır (Turkey)

    Graduated from Cranfield University

    Earned an MSc in Agricultural Machinery 1987, an a PhD in Agricultural Machinery Management in 1993.

    Lifetime achievements

    Turkish politician and General Secretary of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) since 2016. Sindir was also a representative of Turkey in the European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture (EFITA).

  • Mitchell Yockelson (USA)

    Graduated from Cranfield University

    Earned a PhD in Military History in 2006.

    Lifetime achievements

    A military historian and archivist, Yockelson has written 4 books including Borrowed Soldiers: Americans Under British Command 1918, which was named one of the best books on military history by London Independent in 2008. He is considered one of the foremost authorities on the topic of World War I and currently works as an investigative archivist in the Office of the Inspector General at NARA. His main duty is to investigate stolen historical document cases.

  • Nader Dahabi (Jordan)

    Graduated from Cranfield University

    Earned an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering.

    Lifetime achievements

    Prime Minister and Minister of Defence in Jordan from 2007 to 2014. Dahabi was the first Arabic person to serve as president of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) from 1996 to 1997.

  • Omobola Olubusola Johnson (Nigeria)

    Graduated from Cranfield University

    Earned a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA).

    Lifetime achievements

    Honorary Chairperson of the global Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI), Nigeria. Johnson was Minister of Communications and Technology in Nigeria from 2011 to 2015. She worked on the launch and execution of the National Broadband Plan and supported the Nigerian technology industry.

  • Sarah Willingham (UK)

    Graduated from Cranfield University

    Earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Cranfield University School of Management in 2004.

    Lifetime achievements

    British entrepreneur and investor. In January 2016, Willingham was named one of The Sunday Times’ ‘500 Most Influential People in Britain’. She has appeared on 2 seasons of the BBC television programme Dragons’ Den. Her notable ventures include the management of UK high street restaurant chains Pizza Express and Bombay Bicycle Club.

  • Siddhartha Lal (India)

    Graduated from Cranfield University

    Earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1997.

    Lifetime achievements

    Former CEO and the current Managing Director of Eicher Motors, a director of Eicher Goodearth Limited and chairman and Managing Director of VE Commercial Vehicles. Lal is credited with the revival of the ‘Royal Enfield Bullet’ motorcycle (manufactured by Royal Enfield).
