Important notice: due to current travel restrictions, our new flexible admissions policy means that some entry requirements may be different. Please see our dedicated FAQs for more information.
What grades and English level do I need?
You will need to meet certain entry requirements for our UK pathway courses. All of our courses require a minimum of 11 years of education, and certain courses will require more.
You will also need to have reached a certain English language level for our courses. If you require a visa, you’ll need to show proof of your English skills with a UKVI-approved Secure English Language Test or approved equivalent. If you don’t need a visa, we may be able to accept other English test results.
What are the entry requirements?

See the academic and English language entry requirements for our course types below.
Important notice: many of our courses are currently available through digital learning. As you won’t need a visa to study online, we can accept a wider range of English language tests for courses studied in this way. Please see our dedicated FAQs for more information.
If you need a visa to study in the UK and don’t have nationality for a majority-English-speaking country, or hold a degree taught in English or from a majority-English-speaking country, you will need to satisfy the UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration) English language requirement. You can do this by taking an accepted Secure English Language Test (SELT) at a UKVI-approved test centre, and reaching the required English level no more than 2 years before you receive your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) for your pathway course.
Proof of English language ability is required for you to obtain your visa: you can find out more on our UK visa advice page.
What if I meet the education requirements, but not the English level for a course?
If you do not meet the English language requirements listed here, we can offer you additional English preparation as part of your course. Extra preparation is available at all of our UK Colleges. Get in touch with us for more information about your different options.
Can I get extra support for other subject areas?
Many of our colleges offer options for students to enhance their Maths and Science knowledge or general study skills as part of their pathway course. This way, you can be even better prepared for your university degree. Contact us for more details about our offerings.
