University of Oregon tuition and dates

University of Oregon tuition and dates

The total cost of your education is an important factor to consider when studying abroad. On this page, you’ll find an overview of the kinds of costs you can expect to pay at the University of Oregon (UO), as well as some important dates.

Students must consider the following costs:

  • Tuition: the cost of your classes, and likely the most expensive part of your education
  • Student housing: the cost of your room while living in Oregon
  • Meal plan: the cost of your access to campus dining as a UO student
  • University and student fees: these mandatory fees cover the cost of things like access to facilities, student events, technology services, and more
  • Health insurance: the cost of health-care coverage while enrolled as a student at UO
  • Books and learning materials: the cost of course-related textbooks, workbooks and other materials
  • Personal funds: the cost of traveling to and from UO, and spending money for miscellaneous expenses while living in Oregon

Cost of tuition

Often, the most expensive investment in your education abroad is tuition, which pays for all your classes while you’re enrolled at UO.

Unlike most US universities that raise tuition costs an average of 5% per year, UO pledges that the cost of your tuition will not increase for at least five years from the time you start your studies, so you won’t face any surprises.
