University of Brighton International College Pre-Sessional English

Pre-Sessional English for a University of Brighton degree

Raise your English language level with a Pre-Sessional English (PSE) course before you start your degree at the University of Brighton.

Why might you need
Pre-Sessional English?

This PSE course is for students who have a conditional or unconditional offer from the University of Brighton. Here are some reasons to take a PSE course.

  • If you have a conditional offer, a PSE course lets you meet the English language requirements of your offer without taking another IELTS test.
  • If you have an unconditional offer, a PSE course can help feel more confident about your new life in the UK and fully prepared for your degree.
  • A PSE course helps you improve your English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. You’ll learn key language for studying at university level, so you feel ready for your degree.
  • You can get to know both Brighton and the University during your course. That means when you start your degree, you’ll already feel settled and comfortable in your new surroundings.
