The Kaplan International Pathways story started in 2005, when we partnered with Nottingham Trent University in the UK, opening Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC) on the University’s main campus.
Today, we have more than 40 university partners across the UK, Ireland, North America and Australia, plus over 20 learning centres worldwide. This gives students a world of choice for their university study options.
Our success story is underpinned by our overall mission – to connect students, agents, sponsors and partner universities by matching life-changing international education opportunities with individual needs and aspirations. Browse our timeline to discover more.
Building work begins on the new residence for Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham Trent International College students.
Our new residence opens in Nottingham, offering high-quality accommodation in the city centre. Since 2017, this accommodation has also been available to students at the University of Nottingham International College.
Our 10th Birthday!
We launch a new partnership with the University of York, with the on-campus International Pathway College which opened in 2016.
We create our first integrated living and learning environment in Bournemouth. This is now the site of both our college and our student residences.
We win an Education Investor award recognising our commitment to expanding our offerings to students worldwide.
We celebrate 80 years since Kaplan, our parent company, was first founded by Stanley Kaplan. Sadly, he died in 2009, but his passion for fair education, available to everyone no matter who they are, lives on.
We welcome a new UK partner, the prestigious University of Bristol! Students can study at KIC London or on the University’s campus before they start a degree.
Our hard-working marketing team wins a number of industry awards, including an EVCOM award for best in-house film, and a London Design Award.
As the year ends, we open two new student residences in Brighton and Liverpool, with the latter also gaining a fantastic new college building.
We have achieved so much since 2005, but we don’t want to stop there.
