Pre-Sessional English
If you meet academic requirements for a degree and just need to improve your English, you can take a Pre-Sessional English course before starting your degree. This course is available at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- A Pre-Sessional English (PSE) course can help you enhance your English language and study skills for entry to a bachelor’s or a master’s degree.
- If you have an offer to study at university that is conditional on English language, a PSE course gives you the best chance of achieving the required level. You can also take a PSE course even if your study offer is unconditional, in order to develop your academic skills and confidence, ready for a degree.

If you’d like to gain valuable work experience during your studies, you can often choose to add an integrated online internship to your course, which is taken in the UK. Simply select the internship option of your preferred course when you apply.

Multi-Progression Pathway courses
You can also take a Multi-Progression Pathway (MPP) study route at the International College, which allows you to choose which UK universities to apply to while you study. You can apply through UCAS for a place at a UK university and will progress by passing your degree preparation course at the required level with good attendance.
