    The University of Nottingham named best in the UK for graduate employment

    The University of Nottingham can celebrate a fantastic ranking in the newly published Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, moving up 5 places since last year. However, the University has also been named the best in the UK for graduate employment, showing why it’s one of the best places to study in the country.

    The University’s new ranking in part reflects a significant increase in student satisfaction ratings, and its impressive performance was enough to earn it a shortlisting for the coveted University of the Year award.

    The University of Nottingham’s award for being the best in the UK for graduate employment comes after it made important changes to adapt to increasing competition in the jobs market.

    Its efforts have included a £1 million investment fund to expand the careers service at the University, which helps students prepare for a job once they graduate.

    Alastair McCall, editor of the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, explained why Nottingham came top this year:
