Nottingham Trent University wins prestigious award

29 Mar 2016 - Francis Pearson

Nottingham Trent University (our Nottingham Trent International College partner) has for many years had a strong reputation for high levels of satisfaction among its international students. This status has been reinforced by NTU winning in the International category of the 2016 Whatuni Student Choice Awards.

NTU was commended at the awards ceremony for its continuous support for international students through platforms such as live chat, and its knowledgeable and dedicated staff.

The prestigious Student Choice Awards awards are organised by Whatuni. This is a student-led website with almost 400,000 members, which helps students find a suitable degree and university.

Over the past six months, the Whatuni outreach team has visited campuses all over the UK, and has collected and carefully considered more than 25,000 reviews concerning student satisfaction. As a result of this feedback, NTU (Nottingham Trent University) was nominated for Best Student Union, Best Facilities and University of the Year, in addition to winning in the International category. You can find out more about the awards here.

This award reflects Nottingham Trent’s long-standing reputation for excellence in student satisfaction levels. NTU has received recognition before, receiving the top accolade in the Outstanding Support for Students category at the Times Higher Education Awards 2014.

Kaplan is proud to work in partnership with NTU, which offers some of the very best facilities in the UK. International students can study at NTU through a pathway course at Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC).
