The new and improved City, University of London ranking

The Guardian recently released its widely respected university league table for the coming year, which contained some great news for City, University London. City has made an incredible leap into the UK top 20, moving from 37th to 18th in the rankings. How did it happen?

This remarkable rise in the City, University London ranking is the product of the University’s hard work, its high quality of teaching, and its focus on student satisfaction. In fact, The Complete University Guide 2017 recently ranked City 1st in London and top 10 in the UK for student satisfaction, justifying its excellent reputation.

Strong showings in subject areas such as Accounting and Finance, Business, Management, and Electronic Engineering also helped City to cement its place.

Commenting on the new City, University London ranking, the institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Paul Curran, stresses City’s dedication to its students.

“Over the past three years, we have increased the satisfaction of our students by more than any other university in the country, thanks to a significant effort by all of our staff.  We have achieved this by listening to what our students say, making sure we support our staff to provide high-quality education, and ensuring that routine things, such as providing timely feedback after assessments, are done well.”

He also cites the University’s investment in staff and facilities, which ensure that students have all the resources they need to get a fantastic education.
