The prestigious THELMAs (Times Higher Education Leadership & Management Awards) are happening soon, with the prize ceremony taking place in June. The shortlist of nominees for the 2018 awards has been revealed, and we're delighted to see so many of our fantastic partner universities represented.
The THELMAs recognise higher education institutions for excellence in innovation, teamwork and administration. 2018 marks the 10th year of the THELMAs; an important milestone for Times Higher Education, which is one of the most highly regarded organisations in the sector worldwide.
Kaplan partner universities that have made the shortlist include the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, which has been nominated for the Outstanding Library Team award. Congratulations to the booklovers at UWE Bristol! The University is also up for the Outstanding Student Services Team prize.
We were also very pleased to see City, University of London nominated in the field for Excellence in Registry Services.
The University of Essex, our newest partner, has been nominated in the Outstanding Digital Innovation category, as has the University of Nottingham. The latter university has also been shortlisted for the Knowledge Exchange/Transfer Initiative prize.
Aston University can proudly say that it's nominated for the teaching and Learning Strategy of the Year award, along with the University of Salford. Salford is also in the running for the Outstanding Marketing / Communications Team award with the University of Glasgow, and for the Outstanding Estates Strategy award with the University of Brighton.
With the awards now not far off, we'd like to wish the very best of luck to all of our partner universities, and we look forward to the winners being announced!
