In some fantastic news for Kaplan Pathways and all of our students, our admissions team has been shortlisted for the student admissions award at the THELMAs.
The THELMAs – or Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards – are much like the Oscars for the higher education sector. Our inclusion in the shortlist is a particularly special achievement, as these awards are usually reserved solely for universities.
The prize for Outstanding Student Admissions Team has 6 nominees, and the Kaplan admissions team is up against some tough competition. Our student admissions team is passionate about transforming futures, and we’re very proud to be recognised for all the care we put into our admissions process.
Many of our partner universities are also shortlisted for awards. The University of Glasgow features in 3 categories, including Outstanding Library Team and Outstanding Strategic Planning Team.
City, University of London has also been recognised in 3 categories: Outstanding Estates Team, Outstanding Administrative Services Team and Outstanding Leadership & Management Team. The University of Salford, too, is shortlisted 3 times.
In addition, the University of York and Nottingham Trent University have both been shortlisted in 2 categories, while the University of Aberdeen, University of Liverpool and Bournemouth University are in competition for 1 award each.
Just being shortlisted for a THELMA is an impressive accomplishment; both Kaplan and our partner universities can feel extremely proud. It demonstrates that students are in good hands when they choose to study a pathway course in the UK with Kaplan.
