Congratulations to the graduating class of 2019! It's been a long journey from your time as a pathway student to your graduation day, but you did it!
Our Class of 2019 started their journey as students on a pathway course, before becoming Kaplan alumni on a university degree. We thought we'd celebrate their success by hearing how they feel about being university graduates.
"It seems like it was only yesterday that I had my first day at the College, and now it feels so amazing to have graduated with first-class honours — hard work did pay off! I'm also happy to have secured a graduate job in London. Onwards and upwards!"
"My advice to new students is to not be afraid to ask questions. Don't be afraid to connect with different people. Be respectful, be open-minded and, of course, enjoy it!"
"I'm really thankful for my family standing by me in very difficult moments, during all those days and nights of writing my dissertation and all of the exams I took. I'm so grateful that they were supporting me all along."
"I've finally graduated with a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering! I honestly couldn't imagine myself doing something else! Despite the bumpy 7 years of my study journey, I've proved to myself that I could do it, and I've made my family proud of me."
"The College prepared me well, especially in terms of understanding how to complete your assignments, how to respect your deadlines, and to understand the ways of doing things in the UK."
Rafiq from Jordan followed his path from University of Brighton International College to the University of Brighton.
"The pathway course I did at the College was a massive stepping stone that helped me when I joined the University, and it enabled me to participate more in my classes. It really did help me become a proper, full-on university student."
Aamina from UAE followed her path from University of Brighton International College to the University of Brighton.
"I am most proud of the opportunity that I had to come to the UK and study at such diverse institutions, where I not only studied, but made lifelong friends."
Darshan from Kenya followed his path from KIC London to the University of Westminster.
If you've recently graduated, we'd love to hear how you followed your path, your way. Search @KaplanPathways and get in touch!
