2018: a great year for Kaplan students

19 Mar 2019 - Victoria S. Williams

We're proud of the number of Kaplan students who progress to their 1st-choice university after completing their UK pathway course — and 2018 was another great year!

A successful year for Kaplan students

The main purpose of taking a pathway course is to allow you to progress to university. That's why we're thrilled to announce that in 2018, an impressive 89% of Kaplan students who successfully completed their pathway course at one of our UK colleges received an unconditional offer from their chosen university!

That figure is made up of students who successfully completed a Foundation Certificate, International Year One (IYO), or Pre-Master's course.

88% of Foundation Certificate Students received an unconditional offer from their 1st-choice university, as did 89% of Pre-Master's students and a whopping 100% of IYO students!

There's no need to worry if you don't receive an unconditional offer though, as our staff are on hand to help you explore the options open to you, and find the right path for you.

Results by college

Below, you can see the progression rates for each of our UK pathway colleges:

A fantastic achievement

These great results are down to all the hard work our students have put in over the past year, as well as the high standard of teaching and support offered by the dedicated staff at all our UK colleges.

So congratulations to everyone who made 2018 such a success, and to all our students taking the next steps on their path to a great degree. We're so proud of everything that you've achieved so far!
